Laminating

Thomco excels at producing laminated parts on our high-speed rotary presses. We can laminate a single adhesive layer to your material or construct complex, multi-layered components with pin-point precision and speed to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. Lamination can be done as a stand-alone service or in-line with other converting processes such as die cutting or printing.

At Thomco, quality is at the forefront of everything we do. We are ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 registered and are a 3M Preferred converter. For you, this means we have quality controls in place to make sure your parts are within tolerance and packed and shipped exactly as you specify.

Benefits of Lamination at Thomco

Because of our diverse mixture of capabilities, we can accommodate both simple laminations and complex multi-layered laminations. Rotary press lamination allows us to quickly and efficiently stack many layers at high speed, and, if you require die cutting or printing on your laminated parts, we do that all in-line in one process to maximize efficiency. You will get a perfect alignment of your layers with no creasing or bubbling every time.

Our Laminating Capabilities

Whether you need to add an adhesive to a piece of foam or create a multi-layer stack-up with medical grade materials, Thomco has you covered. We work with just about any thin gauge, flexible material and have relationships with world-class adhesive vendors. Need a custom adhesive for a challenging application? Many of our vendors specialize in just that, and work with Thomco to supply custom adhesives for lamination to a large variety of substrates.

Finishing Options

Does your lamination require custom finishing such as an extended liner for easy removal, or perhaps you would like print on the part. Thomco can do it all, and we do it efficiently by combining the lamination process with finishing processes in one step to save you costs.

Is Laminating Right for Your Application?

Do you need to put adhesive onto a substrate? Does your part consist of several materials that need to be layered? Or do you need a custom adhesive for a challenging application? If you answered yes, let Thomco be your laminating partner. If not, take a look at our other converting services. We pride ourselves on our diverse mixture of capabilities and there isn't much we can't cut. If you need help determining if our capabilities can produce what you need, just ask us. We love a challenge and are looking forward to taking a look at your parts and solving your problems.
